NTM Engineering, formerly Lotus Environmental Consulting, provided environmental services as a subconsultant for the ADA Ramps Work Orders (WO) 1, 2, 9, & 11 projects in Philadelphia County, PA. This open end agreement involves a variety of environmental studies and engineering efforts, in order to complete the necessary improvements to various ADA ramps in the City of Philadelphia, PA.
The WO 1 project included 30 curb ramps along the SR 3005 and SR 3012 corridors. For the WO 2 project, 136 intersections along SR 0001, SR 0611, SR 0291, SR 3010, SR 3029, and SR 2008 were surveyed to address crosswalk ramps that were non-compliant. The WO 9 project involves the preliminary and final design of ADA ramp improvements and pedestrian studies at 57 intersections along SR 0030, SR 1010, SR 3014, SR 1011, SR 3014, SR 3017, SR 4002, SR 4007, and SR 4021 corridors. For the WO 11 project, corridors for the design development of design-build ADA curb ramps included SR 0001, SR 0073, SR 0532, SR 1009, SR 1020, SR 2001, and SR 3023. A total of 81 intersections are included in WO 11.
Lotus was responsible for collecting background environmental data, preparing the Purpose and Needs section, completing the scoping document, and the scoping field view.
