NTM Engineer Bethany Kavulich, MS, PE, CPESC taught more than 40 students at the Whitaker Center’s “Science in Motion” STEM Camp on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, in Harrisburg, PA. The students learned basic physics concepts about force, energy, and acceleration, and how they relate to the ways we travel from one place to another. Students had the chance to crash cars, build and test their own impact attenuators, and learn about some of the ways that cars and roadways are designed to keep us safe.
