Jeff’s community involvement started in college, where he served the Drexel University community through its Honors fraternity. Today, he is still very involved with his local community. He is the head coach for the Northern York Fastpitch Association (NYFA) 12U travel softball team and serves as Chairman of the NYFA Executive Board of Directors. Jeff and his wife, Karen, also headed up NTM’s participation in Operation Sandy Clause in 2013 to collect unwrapped Christmas toys, blankets, hats, and gloves for families devastated by Hurricane Sandy. In 2013, Jeff mentored a group of local middle school students in the Future City Competition, featuring an essay topic of “Rethink Runoff – Design Clean Solutions to Manage Stormwater Pollution.” This group competed against middle schools from around the state in an engineering competition. Along with mentoring the group, Jeff served as the advising engineer. Jeff’s group won the Best Transportation Planning Prize.
