Newell Chairs PSU Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering’s IPAC

NTM President Donna Newell served as a chair on the Penn State College of Engineering’s Industrial and Professional Advisory Council (IPAC) in March 2016. The IPAC is a select group of representatives from industry, government agencies, academia, and the engineering profession who advise the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department on academic issues and on current trends and the future direction of engineering. IPAC serves as a forum where ideas are exchanged and recommendations are made. It also provides direct linkage and communication between the Department and the engineering profession. Donna has been a member of IPAC since 2013.
