NTM recently wrapped up our Second Annual Wellness Challenge. This year’s Challenge lasted eight weeks, an increase from last year’s five-week Challenge. Held virtually, it’s purpose was to engage employees, encourage teamwork, and promote healthy living. With a hybrid office atmosphere still in place, employees were encouraged to post photos, recipes, and encouragement to a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel. Activities included themes of healthy eating, increased water intake, exercise, and mindfulness. Points were given for each day of exercise and healthy eating and posting at least one image a week to the Teams channel. Weekly and overall prizes were awarded at the end of the eight weeks.
An amazing 95% of employees participated in the competition. In the end, NTM employees logged an impressive total of 2,017 walking/running miles and 980 biking miles.
