NTM Engineering, Inc. (NTM) is proud to have partnered with Habitat for Humanity for a company-wide service project. This spring, four teams from NTM have volunteered over 188 hours to York Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, a group from our State College office volunteered for Centre County Habitat for Humanity in October. Our hands-on experience in York included various tasks for the East Prospect Street Project, including installing windows, siding, working on stairs, and installing drywall.
“York Habitat would like to thank NTM for their work as volunteers on several occasions. They did much more than put up drywall and stairs in a home – they helped to strengthen our community and build a foundation on which hardworking families can create a better future,” said Rick Worden, Habitat’s Volunteer Services Manager.
“NTM has a long history of community outreach and the Habitat for Humanity project not only gave back to our communities but focused on our team-building spirit. NTM employees generously gave their time and labor to this project and we are thrilled with the teamwork that was displayed on-site for these future homeowners. We look forward to future updates on the progress of this house, which so many hands helped to build,” stated Donna Newell, MS, PE, CFM, President.
