After the remnants of Hurricane Ida, NTM was called upon to inspect the bridges and infrastructure that was left in the wake. NTM structural staff inspected a total of 52 bridges in Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties under 4 different agreements. One bridge was closed when the inspection team arrived, and NTM ultimately closed 3 additional bridges after the inspection was complete. We want to commend the staff of the structures group for not only deploying these emergency inspections in a short timeframe, but also taking time out of their Labor Day weekend to complete. Pennsylvania infrastructure is so vital to our daily lives and NTM takes pride in the detailed inspections and designs that are utilized to help keep our Commonwealth safely moving.
