NTM is excited to announce four new employees that have recently joined the NTM Team.
Carrie Knight has been appointed NTM’s Technology Director, a new position in which she will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of NTM’s growing technological needs. Carrie began her career in the engineering field fresh out of Penn State University as a technical writer and designer for Gannett Fleming. She spent 14 years there developing IT skills that promoted her to the position of Web and Multimedia Manager. Carrie left Gannett to start her own web design consulting business, Blue Pixels Media, in 2007. One of Carrie’s first consulting clients was NTM, for whom she completed numerous brochures, displays, project sheets, and three websites over the last 10 years.
Julie Lewis joined NTM as a Project Accountant. She is located in the Dillsburg office. Julie is a graduate of the Thompson Institute with an Associate of Applied Science, Computer Applications and Programming degree. Julie brings 13 years of billing and project accountant experience to NTM.
Mark Bolt joined NTM as a Senior Bridge Engineer in our Dillsburg office. Mark is a 2008 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering degree. He has a background in Structural Engineering and Construction Inspection, working with clients such as PennDOT, VDOT, SHA, and DelDOT. Mark has performed NBIS bridge inspections for SHA, MDTA, and VDOT. Mark is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland, and is a Certified Bridge Safety Inspector.
Tom Lichtenwalner joined NTM as a Bridge Designer in our Dillsburg office. Tom is a 2018 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, with a structural concentration. Tom’s background includes conducting guiderail, shoulder, and pavement distress inspections as part of the STAMPP QA Program with PennDOT. He also gained experience designing and analyzing steel and concrete members, foundations, and stormwater management systems.
