For nearly two decades, NTM has been providing technical course development and training for our clients across Pennsylvania. Based in our areas of technical expertise, our professionals have developed and taught training courses, including 250 individual offerings of over 30 different courses.

PennDOT Training
NTM develops and instructs numerous courses for PennDOT. NTM was the lead developer for 12 of PennDOT’s H&H and drainage offerings. These courses span topics, including general theory, PennDOT-specific practices, and state/federal regulatory requirements. The audience includes designers, engineers, and project managers responsible for designing, analyzing, and permitting stream crossings, stormwater, and drainage systems. Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP)
NTM is part of the support team for Pennsylvania’s LTAP program under the federally-funded PennDOT LTAP program providing free support for municipalities statewide. Our team has tailored three brand new courses and eight mini drop-in presentations since 2021, supporting municipal education and program development. These and all of LTAP’s programs are listed under training descriptions on their website.
Others
NTM has prepared and taught mini courses for several different clients to satisfy Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) permit educational needs and other specific topics on request.
NTM has developed and provided review support to PA DEP Clean Water Academy online course offerings, most recently providing development for the newly released “Proper Installation and Inspection of Stormwater Control Measures.”
