SR 0407 Section 250 North Abington Road Bridge over Unnamed Tributary to Lackawanna Lake

The SR 0407 Section 250 North Abington Road Bridge over an Unnamed Tributary to Lackawanna Lake project in North Abington Township, Lackawanna County, is replacing an existing structural deficient bridge. NTM is performing structural design, roadway design, H&H analyses, and erosion and sediment control design for the replacement of this existing bridge. Configuration of roadway geometry and water surface elevations enabled a reinforced concrete box culvert with a smaller vertical clearance to be proposed, which was a cost savings to PennDOT when compared to a bridge.
