Francisco is a senior project manager for NTM Engineering who offers over 16 years of engineering experience. He specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) design and waterway permitting for bridge and culvert projects, performing complicated 2D hydraulic modeling. He received his master’s of science in civil engineering at Villanova University with a focus on water resources and structures design, and is fluent in Spanish. He is proficient with HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, HY-8, PEAKFQ, and WMS.
Francisco has been involved with NTM’s 2D hydrologic modeling for the PennDOT SR 0244 Section A04 over Ellisburg Creek project in Potter County; Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) project in Northumberland and Union Counties; SR 2006 over Mackey Run in Centre County; and SR 1001 Section 16 Little Juniata River Bridge project in Blair County.
Francisco is also one of NTM’s instructors, teaching H&H courses, including the PennDOT H&H Course: Introduction to Hydraulics and HEC-RAS. He spoke at the 2012 National Hydraulic Engineering Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, where he co-presented the “CSVT Susquehanna River Bridge – Using a Calibrated 2D Hydraulic Model to Assess Impacts in a Floodway” seminar.
