Susan is a senior project manager who specializes in stormwater design, erosion and sediment control (E&S) design, NPDES permitting, highway design, and site development with over 25 years of experience. Her water resource experience includes drainage, stormwater and E&S designs and permitting for both public and private sector projects. Her highway and site development background includes the development of roadway alignments, site grading, traffic control, and pavement marking design development. She has experience with railroad grade crossing involvement, submitting PUC applications and acquiring local municipal zoning/land development approvals. As part of stormwater management and project work, she has developed landscaping and planting layouts incorporating both functional and aesthetic considerations. Susan has developed numerous Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramp designs following requirements for PennDOT and the City of Philadelphia, co-presenting on the topic at an American Society of Highway Engineers technical session with PennDOT staff. As part of her work here at NTM, she has developed and taught short courses on stormwater management BMP practices for PennDOT.
